Tonight Danza con me, Roberto Bolle ’s program that has been bringing the world of dance to prime time on Rai1 for six years now, returns on January 1. An appointment awaited by viewers that is not just a dance show, but a great show in an original format, full of artistic and technological innovations. Produced by Rai Direzione Intrattenimento Prime Time in collaboration with Ballandi and Artedanza srl, Danza con me is hosted this year by Luca Zingaretti and Cristiana Capotondi, but many guests will take turns on stage during the evening, including Elio, Virginia Raffaele, Alberto Angela, Blanco, Paola Minaccioni, Dargen D’Amico, Claudia Gerini, Edoardo Leo, and Dardust.

Dance with Me will in fact use for the first time on television, tying it to dance, the most advanced AVATAR technology. The impact of technologicalinnovation in this edition of the program will be very strong: thanks to the immersive LED that, embracing more than half of the studio, will make the dance experience enveloping and totalizing, all under the graphic direction of Cristina Redini and her staff.

Very high, as always, the level of dance represented with some of the most important dancers on the international choreographic scene.

Roberto Bolle will also pay tribute to Ezio Bosso: the étoile has asked choreographer Patrick de Bana for a solo for him on the famous song Rain, In Your Black Eyes. Danza con Me’s guest for the first time will be Les Ballets Trockadero De Montecarlo, who, in full compliance with the canonical rules of traditional classical ballet, will offer one of the most revolutionary and at the same time comic versions of such an iconic piece as The Death of the Swan. Solos and pas de deux created specifically for this edition of Danza con Me with non-strictly dance guests are all by La Scala choreographer Massimiliano Volpini, while the acrobatic dance grafts are by Davide Agostini’s Compagnia dei Liberi.

Among the new features of this sixth edition is a special audience, made up of young students from dance schools throughout Italy, brought together with the collaboration of AssoDanza Italia, the main association that protects and represents dance schools, teachers and those in the performing arts sector who identify with Basic Coreutical Training.

It is directed for the first time by Fabrizio Guttuso.
