Exhibition dedicated to Elliott Erwitt's dogs scheduled in Treviso

Casa dei Carraresi in Treviso hosts Elliott Erwitt's photography exhibition dedicated to dogs from Sept. 22, 2018 to Feb. 3, 2019.

Scheduled from Sept. 22, 2018 to Feb. 3, 2019 at Casa dei Carraresi in Treviso is the exhibition"Elliott Erwitt: dogs are like humans, only with more hair."

The retrospective curated by Marco Minuz will display more than eighty photographs taken by the French-American photographer, along with videos and documents, dedicated to dogs.

The peculiarity is that Erwitt often makes the images from the dogs’ point of view, at their height.
Of their owners, only their feet and legs are frequently seen: in fact, the photographer intends to emphasize the natural and in some cases funny attitude of the four-legged friends in contrast to the refined composure and pomposity of their owners.

The exhibition is organized by Suazes with the collaboration of Fondazione Cassamarca of Treviso and Magnum Photos.
