Until Feb. 18, the exhibition Frida Kahlo in the Casa Azul - Macondo Myth and Reality in the Photographs of Leo Matiz can be visited at the Bari Civic Museum.

Until February 18 (the exhibition has been extended given its great success with the public) it is possible to visit at the Museo Civico di Bari the exhibition Frida Kahlo in the Casa Azul - Macondo myth and reality in the photographs of Leo Matiz.

On display are more than fifty shots by Leo Matiz of his friend Frida Kahlo in the Casa Azul in Coyoacán, Mexico, but also more than sixty images dedicated to Macondo, the city described by Gabriel García Marquez in “One Hundred Years of Solitude.”

The exhibition is promoted and supported by the City of Bari, the Leo Matiz Foundation, and is organized by the Vallalta Ecomuseum Association and the Idria Consortium, under the patronage of the Embassy of Colombia in Italy and the Embassy of Mexico in Italy.

Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed Tuesdays.
