Sentimental Geographies, the exhibition of antique books and historical maps that tells the story of Sicily and the Mediterranean.

From June 23 to 27, 2018, Taormina will host the eighth edition of Taobuk, the International Book Festival, directed and conceived by Antonella Ferrara: the theme of this edition is “Revolutions” with meetings and appointments concerning art and literature, cinema, music and cuisine.

As part of Taobuk, an exhibition of old books and historical maps"Sentimental Geographies" is scheduled at Palazzo Ciampoli, which aims to enhance the book archive from the Regional Library of Messina.

The exhibition"Sentimental Geographies. The Tale of Sicily and the Mediterranean through Historical Maps" is curated by Maria Teresa Rodriguez and Roberta Scorranese and is promoted by Assessorato dei Beni Culturali e dell’Identità Siciliana and Parco Archeologico Naxos Taormina.
