Milan, sunset walk among the Duomo spires every Thursday

Starting June 10, every Thursday you can go up to the Terraces of Milan Cathedral to watch the sunset between the spires.

Every Thursday, starting June 10, 2021, visitors to the Duomo of Milan will have the opportunity to admire the sunset among the spires, walking on the Terraces: in fact, the public will be able to go up to the Terraces, via elevator until 10 p.m. (the last ascent is scheduled at 9:10 p.m.). Ticket Office 1 - Sala delle Colonne (Piazza del Duomo, 14/a) will also be specially open until 9 p.m.

The Veneranda Fabbrica thus opens the summer season by offering extended opening hours for this additional visit. The one hundred and thirty-five spires, ornaments, the Madonnina and all the architectural details will be safely visible from above. To celebrate the evening reopening, the Duomo’s gala lighting system will also be exceptionally activated on Thursdays.

Guided tours between the spires will also continue on weekends: Saturday, June 12, 19 and 26 at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 3, 10, 2021 at 5:30 p.m.

Visits can be booked at duomomilano.it.
