On Monday, May 13 at 12 p.m., the Fabbriche di Storie project, an emotional audio trail, will be presented at the Uffizi.

On Monday, May 13, 2019, at 12 p.m., at theVasari Auditorium of the Uffizi Galleries, the audio-emotionaljourney among twelve masterpieces of the Florentine museum venue will be previewed.
Factories of Stories, this is the title of the initiative, intends to propose to the public an unprecedented vision of the museum, interpreted as an inexhaustible yard of stories told.

The works presented in this original formula will be: Adoration of the Magi by Gentile da Fabriano; Thebaid by Beato Angelico; St. Anna Metterza by Masaccio and Masolino; Annunciation of Cestello, Primavera, Pallas and the Centaur by Sandro Botticelli; Sacred Allegory by Giovanni Bellini; Head of an Elderly Man by Camillo Boccaccino; Adoration of the Magi by Domenico Ghirlandaio; Liberation of Andromeda by Piero di Cosimo; and Holy Family by Luca Signorelli.

The narratives were conceived by museum workers and foreign nationals living in Italy, interweaving the story of these masterpieces with tales dedicated to universal themes, such as family, friendship, prayer, and travel. Great actors and actresses have lent their voices to the narratives, such as Marco Baliani, Micaela Casalboni, Lella Costa, Laura Curino, Lucilla Giagnoni, Giulia Lazzarini, Marco Martinelli and Emma Montanari, Maria Paiato, Marco Paolini, Ottavia Piccolo, Paola Roscioli, and Arianna Scommegna.

The runs will soon be made available to the public on the Galleries website and on major podcasts.
