She wrote her name on one of the columns of the Vasari Corridor near the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. The act was carried out yesterday, March 24, by a 69-year-old tourist. The woman was using a marker to write on the column and was stopped by carabinieri: she was reported and will have to answer for the crime of defacement.

The famous portico was also the subject of damage last December, when a van had hit one of the columns while making a U-turn there.
