Sunday at the museum: on November 3, 2019, free admission to state museums and cultural sites

After October 6, Sunday at the Museum reintroduced by Dario Franceschini returns on Sunday, November 3, 2019.

Sunday, November 3, 2019 sees the return of the monthly appointment with Sunday at the Museum, which provides free admission on the first Sunday of the month to state museums and places of culture.

The initiative had been introduced in July 2014 by Dario Franceschini, then minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities and for Tourism: since the beginning of this initiative, about 15 million people have visited state museums and archaeological parks for free.

Discontinued by Alberto Bonisoli, who had taken Franceschini’s place in the former government, Sunday at the Museum was reintroduced with great success from October 6, 2019 by the still current minister of MiBACT, Dario Franceschini.

The full list of state museums and cultural sites participating in the initiative can be found on the MiBACT website.
