The Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation announces the new openings of the Labyrinth. The environmental work will be open from October 15, 2025 to January 4, 2026, offering the public an immersive experience lasting about 45 minutes. The tour takes place in the underground spaces at 35 Via Solari in Milan and is accessible only by reservation through the foundation’s official website: fondazionearnaldopomodoro.it
The Labyrinth represents a journey between art, architecture and myth, discovering the most secret heart of Arnaldo Pomodoro’s poetics. Located in the basement of the Milanese Headquarters of Maison FENDI, Arnaldo Pomodoro’s Labyrinth unfolds in the depths of the city, wrapped in an atmosphere suspended between ancient and contemporary, between myth and matter.
The inspiration comes from theEpic of Gilgamesh, the oldest allegorical poem in human history (circa 2000 B.C.), a tale of adventure and existential quest that Pomodoro translates into sculptural form. Through passages and sculpted walls, the path leads the visitor into an archaic and symbolic world. The surfaces of the Labyrinth hold mysterious signs and engravings that evoke distant civilizations and forgotten languages, yet capable of evoking a sense of universal familiarity. A universe made of wedges, piercings and imprints, a visual writing that recalls Sumerian tradition, rock art and the archetypal dimension of the symbol.
With the same admission ticket, it will also be possible to visit the new exhibition Open Studio #4 - Arnaldo Pomodoro. Places, Memories and Visions, set up in the spaces of Arnaldo Pomodoro’s Studio at 3 Via Vigevano, open to the public until May 31, 2026.
