We publish, exclusively for the readers of Finestre Sull’Arte, an unpublished strip from the new comic strip Caravaggio - La Grazia, the work that the great cartoonist Milo Manara wanted to dedicate to Michelangelo Merisi. The comic strip recounts the second part of the artist’s life, from his escape from Rome to his death on the beaches of Argentario. The work mixes elements from documents and the artist’s real biography with fictional elements.

In the strip we publish unedited, we see a character telling about some of Caravaggio’s Sicilian works: the Resurrection of Lazarus, now at the Regional Museum of Messina, and the lost Nativity of Palermo.
