Florence Biennale Internazionale dell'Antiquariato, here are the 77 participating galleries

The Florence Biennale Internazionale dell'Antiquariato has announced the list of participating galleries for the 2019 edition.

The Florence Biennale Internazionale dell’Antiquariato celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2019, and the 31st edition, which will be held at Palazzo Corsini from September 21 to 29, therefore promises to be very rich. In the meantime, BIAF announces the list of 77 galleries, from all over the world, who will exhibit at Palazzo Corsini and who specialize in a wide variety of artistic disciplines. As usual, BIAF will bring to Florence the world’s most renowned art dealers and galleries that are now leading players in the international art market, so much so that they attract attention and trust from major museums and private collectors. There are as many as sixteen new entries, including such emblazoned names as Galerie Canesso from Paris, Galerie Sisman from Paris, Simon C. Dickinson and Peter Finer from London, Nicholas Hall from New York, Galleria Continua from San Gimignano, and Caretto & Occhinegro Gallery from Turin.

“My dream,” says Fabrizio Moretti, secretary general of BIAF for the third time, “is that BIAF can bring to light all those works that are important documents of art history, thanks to the passionate commitment of all its gallerists, thus becoming a point of reference for the art market but also for a wider audience in Italy and beyond. I think of the 31st edition as a movement that will have to make the whole city of Florence participate in the art week, Florence Art week, which will start on September 19, 2019 with the BIAF preview at Palazzo Corsini.”
