The European Night of Museums is back: tonight state museums and cultural sites at the symbolic price of 1 euro

Saturday, May 17, 2025 sees the renewal of the appointment with the European Night of Museums, the initiative conceived by the French Ministry of Culture and sponsored by UNESCO, the Council of Europe and ICOM, which takes place simultaneously in European countries with the intention of enhancing and promoting knowledge of national and European cultural heritage.

Also this year, the Italian Ministry of Culture is joining the event, now in its 21st edition, by proposing the evening opening of state museums and places of culture at the symbolic price of 1 euro (except for the free of charge provided for by current regulations).

The extraordinary openings will be enriched by a wide calendar of initiatives, carried out in collaboration with organizations and associations, to acquaint the public with the activities of the cultural institutes and promote knowledge of cultural heritage in an engaging atmosphere.
