Ferdinando Scianna: Viaggio, racconto, memoria exhibition comes to Venice


Another move for Viaggio, racconto, memoria, the retrospective on photographer Ferdinando Scianna that, this time, will take place at the Casa dei Tre Oci in Venice from Aug. 31, 2019 to Feb. 2, 2020.

The exhibition, curated by Denis Curti, Paola Bergna and Alberto Bianda, art director, organized by Civita Mostre e Musei and Civita Tre Venezie and promoted by Fondazione di Venezia, traces more than 50 years of the Sicilian photographer’s career through 180 black and white works, divided into three major themes - Journey, Tale, Memory.

For the occasion, a series of fashion images that Scianna took in Venice will be exhibited as evidence of his strong connection with the lagoon city.
