One of Gustav Klimt ’s most famous paintings will be featured in an exhibition hosted at Villa Manin, in Passariano di Codroipo (Udine). It is Nuda Veritas, a work exceptionally on loan from the Vienna Theatermuseum. Emblematic of the Vienna Secession, it depicts a female figure defying the gaze of those in front of her, transforming nudity into a powerful statement of freedom.
The masterpiece will enter into dialogue with Louis Dorigny’s frescoes kept in the monumental rooms of the villa that was the residence of the last Doge of Venice.
The exhibition, open to the public from May 21 to Sept. 6, 2026, is made possible by the collaboration between ERPAC FVG and MondoMostre together with the Kunsthistorisches Museum and the Vienna Theatermuseum and will be curated by Cäcilia Bischoff.
