Dalí. Revolution and Tradition is the new exhibition opening to the public on Oct. 17 at Palazzo Cipolla, at the Museo del Corso - Polo Museale in Rome. In fact, Dalí’s entire creative journey, from his early years to his last works, continually moves between two only seemingly contrasting extremes: revolution and a call to tradition. Promoted by the Fondazione Roma with the Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí, organized by MondoMostre and open until Feb. 1, 2026, the exhibition will be curated by Carme Ruiz González and Lucia Moni, with scientific direction by Montse Aguer.

More than sixty works by Salvador Dali, including paintings and drawings, will be on display, enriched by photographic and video materials, with the intention of offering an immersion in the visionary imagination of the famous artist, emphasizing his intense connection with the great masters of the past such as Velázquez, Vermeer and Raphael, as well as his dialogue with his contemporary Pablo Picasso.

The works on display come from the Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí itself, as well as from major international institutions, including the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, Museu Picasso in Barcelona and the Uffizi Galleries.

Ticket presale is open from July 17 to October 16, with the possibility of purchasing at a promotional price the OPEN ticket (18 euros), which allows entry on a day of one’s choice at the desired time until the end of the exhibition.
