Major exhibition on Frida Kahlo coming to Milan in 2018

Confirmed the major exhibition on Frida Kahlo to be held in 2018 in Milan at Mudec, Museum of Cultures.

MUDEC (Museum of Cultures) in Milan has unveiled a major exhibition on Frida Kahlo to be held at the Milan institution in 2018 (Feb. 1 to June 3). The exhibition will be titled Frida Kahlo. Beyond the Myth and will be curated by Diego Sileo, who has promised a different exhibition than usual: in fact, in Milan it will be possible to see more than 100 works, some of which have never been exhibited before either in Italy or in Europe.

The works will be sorted by themes and will come from the Dolores Olmedo Museum in Mexico City and the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Collection (Italian audiences were recently able to see several paintings from the Gelman collection on display in Bologna, at Palazzo Albergati) as well as from several U.S. museums. Again, news has been announced that emerged from an archive discovered in 2006 and accessible only to insiders. The appointment is therefore for next year in Milan.
