From October 15, 2026, to February 28, 2027, Spazio Varesina 204, in Milan’s Certosa District, will host “Martin Parr: Irony & Love—Instructions for a Happy Life,” an exhibition curated by Arianna Rinaldo and dedicated to the British photographer Martin Parr. The project brings together 70 photographs taken over the course of more than thirty years and traces a journey through the themes of irony and love, observing scenes of daily life, mass tourism, relationships, and self-portraits. The images reflect Parr’s distinctive approach, as he views the world through humor and engagement, without judgment.
The press preview is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, at 12:00 p.m. Speakers will include curator Arianna Rinaldo, Margherita Guerra of YourPictureditor, and Chiara Spinnato of Monstrum.
