A retrospective exhibition dedicated to Alighiero Boetti and his fantastic world will be hosted at Milan's Dep Art Gallery from Feb. 28 to April 28.

From February 28 to April 28 at Milan ’s Dep Art Gallery, the exhibition"Alighiero Boetti. The Fantastic World."

Visitors will get to know about thirty of his works on paper made since 1965 and a large installation from 1979 that has never been exhibited again.

The works on display will have as their main theme nature revisited and the animal kingdom: thus monkeys, panthers, dolphins, frogs, ibexes, turtles and other creatures composed through decorative elements that repeat and merge, multiplying and blending.

The 1979 installation, called Zoo, is a kind of animal assembly: the visitor sits on an afghan rug and observes the little animals from above.

The exhibition is curated by Federico Sardella.
