Dolce&Gabbana ’s creations are going on display for the first time at Milan’s Palazzo Reale: in fact, from April 7 to July 31, 2024, Dal Cuore alle Mani: Dolce&Gabbana, an exhibition curated by Florence Müller and promoted by the Municipality of Milan - Culture and produced by Palazzo Reale in collaboration with IMG, will be staged here, aiming to trace the creative process of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, from the heart, from which ideas spring, to the hands, the instrument through which they take shape.
Featuring one-of-a-kind pieces from the Haute Couture, Haute Couture and Haute Joaillerie collections, each exhibition hall will present Dolce&Gabbana’s bespoke creations against the backdrop of spectacular installations. The archives and new collections will be displayed in a succession of thematic sections that will highlight the various aspects of Italian culture that have always inspired Dolce&Gabbana’s work: art, architecture, crafts, cities and their regional topography, music, Opera and Ballet, popular traditions, theater and la dolce vita.
The exhibition will also be enriched by works by visual artists created in dialogue with Dolce&Gabbana’s famous creations.
Opening in Milan and then touching several international stops, the exhibition aims to celebrate the brand as a symbol of Italian style through the dream ofHaute Couture, and to explore its unconventional approach to the world of luxury: elegant, sensual and unique, but at the same time fun, irreverent and revolutionary.
