The exhibition “Valentino Vago. Beyond the Horizon” has been extended to Feb. 2, 2018. Opened on Oct. 5, 2017, the event, held in parallel at Galleria Annunciata and Galleria del Milione in Milan, is a look at works created in the 1960s and 1970s by Valentino Vago, works that have as their theme a reference to the horizon.
“My greatest joy,” said the artist, "was the liberation from the horizon, which I experienced as a limitation of the space of the spirit.During the exhibitions at Galleria Annunciata and Galleria del Milione, the Church of San Giovanni in Laterano will host two guided tours led by Roberto Borghi, curator of the event, of Vago’s work, the first of which will be held on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 5 p.m., the second on Monday, Jan. 22 at 5 p.m.
In addition, from Jan. 8 to Feb. 10, 2018 , the Libreria Popolare on 18 Via Tadino in Milan will host an exhibition of catalogs of works and publications dedicated to Valentino Vago from the 1960s to the present. The exhibition will be introduced on Monday, January 8 at 7 p.m. by a reflection by Roberto Borghi on the many prestigious critical contributions dedicated to Valentino Vago’s work.
