Photographing the Park: at the Fortress of Bard the exhibition of the winners of the sixteenth edition of the competition

Until April 25, the Fortress of Bard is hosting an exhibition of the winners of the 16th edition of the 'Photographing the Park' competition, a major award for nature photography.

Ongoing at the Scuderie del Forte di Bard(AO), until April 25, is the exhibition of the winning and mentioned photos of the 16th edition of the international nature photography contest Fotografare il Parco, organized by the Gran Paradiso, Stelvio, Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Parks and the French Park de la Vanoise, under the patronage of Alparc, Federparchi and the participation of media partner La Rivista della Natura.

The four protected areas, divided by hundreds of kilometers, but united in their intent to conserve a heritage of biodiversity unique in beauty and richness, thus want to continue the path of culture of nature images undertaken so far.

The images in the exhibition depict the landscapes and inhabitants that can be encountered in the four protected areas: the chamois engaged in the constant challenges for survival in the mountains, the slow flow of night clouds above the rocky mountains, the delicate unfurling of buds in the forest in the late winter. Plus sweeping vistas, animals and plants.

Thanks to the images it will be possible to witness instants of life in our mountains: moments that, without the attentive gaze and quick reflexes of photographers, many of us could only miss. For a moment, the world of nature unfolds to our eyes in the fullness of its beauty.
