Through June 28, 2018, the Instituto Cervantes in Palermo is hosting a photography exhibition dedicated to Jesse A. Fernández.

Palermo’sInstituto Cervantes, located in the Church of Sant’Eulalia dei Catalani, is hosting until June 28, 2018, the photography exhibition"Errancia y fotografía.The Hispanic World of Jesse A. Fernández."

The exhibition, as part of Palermo Italian Capital of Culture, presents to the public more than one hundred shots by Jesse A. Fernández, 20th-century Cuban photographer and artist.

The exhibition is divided into nine sections depicting the places where he lived: Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, New York, Havana, Puerto Rico, Madrid, Paris and Palermo.
In these places he became interested in the reality and characters of the cultural world and found the Hispanic connection with each.
Protagonists of his shots have always been portraits and cityscapes.
