Auctions Oct. 12-18: 19th century art, modern art and photography

Today, in our auction column, we will find out the best deals from October 12 to 18.

Three auctions at Pandolfini’s: on October 12 there are PAINTS FROM THE 15th TO 18th CENT URY and PAINTS OF THE 19th AND 20th CENTURIES; from October 13 to 20 there is MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ART.

Two auctions at Cambi’s: Oct. 12 is Fine Chinese Works of Art; Oct. 12 to 25 is 19th-century Paintings.

On Oct. 13 Finarte opens the Photography auction. Among the lots for sale are shots by such illustrious photographers as Steve McCurry, Cindy Sherman, Luigi Ghirri and Franco Fontana.

At Maison Bibelot, the Vintage Clothes and Accessories auction is underway until Oct. 18, where items by Gucci, Valentino and Prada can be found.

From Oct. 18 to 20, Babuino will hold thePrestige Auction selling 19th-century artwork and furniture.

On Oct. 13 Christie’ s will hold the 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale and A Place With No Name: Works from the Sina Jina Collection.
