The Royal Palace of Caserta seeks two experts for the conservation of its monumental heritage

The Royal Palace of Caserta has published the notice of selection of two experts for planned conservation of the monumental heritage.

The Royal Palace of Caserta is looking for experts for the programmed conservation of its monumental heritage: in fact, it has published the notice of selection of two professionals, a landscape conservation architect and a historic building manager.

Having ascertained, as per the norm, that it is impossible to cope with the enormous ongoing activity with the human resources available internally, the museum is taking the expected path for public administration to confer individual appointments of a temporary nature to experts of proven specialization through public selections. Also in the light of the health emergency, the need for support to the Offices was found to be necessary in order to contribute to the rapid progress of scheduled ordinary and extraordinary works approved with national and EU funds. From the preliminary verification published on the Ministry of Culture website last March, no suitable applications were received, so the museum initiated a public comparative procedure, by qualifications and interview, to identify a landscape conservation architect and a historic building manager.

The experienced landscape conservation architect will have to support the Royal Park Preservation and Enhancement Service in drafting the management plan, planning, implementation and verification of restoration projects. Thehistoric building manager, on the other hand, will have to support the museum institute in the drafting of the programmed maintenance and preventive conservation plan; in energy efficiency strategies; in the reconnaissance, collection and maintenance of technical documentation; in relations with economic operators, contractors for services or works; and in the management of the various stages of procedures.

Applications are due by July 25. All information is available on the website of the Royal Palace of Caserta in the section Transparent Administration/Notices and Tenders
