Luigi Fassi is the new artistic director of Artissima Fiera Internazionale di Arte Contemporanea for the three-year period 2022-2024: following the international call launched for the appointment, the Board of Directors of the Fondazione Torino Musei has identified the profile of Luigi Fassi as the right candidate to lead the next editions of the Fair, both from a professional point of view and with regard to the project presented.

Luigi Fassi was artistic director of the MAN Museum of Art of the Province of Nuoro from 2018 to 2022. Visual Art Curator at Steirischer Herbst Festival in Graz, Austria, from 2012 to 2017; from 2009 to 2012 he was Artistic Director of Kunstverein ar/ge kunst in Bolzano. In 2008-2009 he was Curatorial Fellow at the Whitney Museum ISP in New York, where he organized exhibitions for several institutions internationally. From 2010 to 2017 he was curator and coordinator of the Present Future section at Artissima, Turin. In 2016 he was fellow of theArtist Research Trip Program in Tel Aviv, Israel, co-curator of the Curated_by Festival in Vienna and the 16th edition of the Quadriennale d’Arte in Rome. He was a member of the selection committee of the contemporary art fair Artorama in Marseille (2019-2022) and curator of the Tomorrow/Todays project at the Cape Town Art Fair in South Africa (2019-2022). Author of numerous books and monographic publications, his articles and texts have appeared in Artforum, Mousse, Flash Art, Camera Austria, Site, and Domus.
