Charging Bull will again remain alone

The two bronze statues of New York Fearless Girl and Charging Bull will soon be separated: for a year they have been facing each other.

At Bowling Green Park in New York City, two bronze sculptures, Fearless Girl and Charging Bull, stood in front of each other for a year.

In March 2017, the Fearless Girl statue, a work created by Norwegian artist Kristem Visbal, had been placed in front of the Charging Bull created in 1989 by Arturo Di Modica: the little girl thus challenged the Wall Street bull in the square.

Soon the scene was captured to represent the desire for gender equality in the world of work.

Opposing the statue of the little girl was first Arturo Di Modica himself, saying how in reality the work was designed by an all-male financial firm.

Fearless Girl, after a year, will be moved to the plaza adjacent to the New York Stock Exchange, while Charging Bull will continue to dominate alone the plaza where it was placed.
