Davide Quadrio has been appointed by the board of Fondazione Torino Musei as the new director of MAO - Museum of Oriental Art in Turin. He has 30 years of experience in Asia.

A cultural producer, curator and educator, Quadrio lives and works between Asia and Italy. He founded and directed for ten years the BizArt Center, the first independent nonprofit art laboratory in Shanghai established to promote the local contemporary art scene. In 2007 he created Arthub, a curatorial platform dedicated to the production and promotion of art in Asia and around the world.

From 2013 to 2016 he curated the contemporary art section of theAurora Museum in Shanghai, among the most spectacular collections of ancient Chinese art in the world. Since 2020 he has been a professor of excellence at IUAV in Venice.

Finally, at Artissima 2021 he had curated the exhibition Hub India - Maximum Minimum together with Myna Mukherjee, curator, founder and director of Engendered, New Delhi.
