Ferragosto: Florence's Civic Museums open

On Wednesday, August 15, 2018, August bank holiday, some of Florence’s Civic Museums will remain open. You will be able to visit the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio, Santa Maria Novella, the Museum of the Twentieth Century, Forte di Belvedere, and the Bigallo Museum. Instead, the Stefano Bardini Museum, the Brancacci Chapel, the Salvatore Romano Foundation, and the Gino Bartali Cycling Museum will remain closed.

These are the opening hours:
Palazzo Vecchio Museum from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Tower from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Santa Maria Novella from 12 to 6:30 pm.
Museo del Novecento from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Forte di Belvedere from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Bigallo Museum from 10 a.m. to 12 noon (accompanied tours by appointment).
