Roberto Sannasardo, Energy Manager of the Regional Department of Cultural Heritage and Sicilian Identity, said: “The lighting project of the Dancing Satyr statue in Mazara del Vallo is part of a broader strategy of the Department, which intends to enhance its monumental and artistic heritage through the use of light as a tool to enhance structures and forms, as has already happened with the LED relamping of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento and for the Ancient Theater in Taormina and as will happen soon, in addition to the Dancing Satyr of Mazara del Vallo, with Temple ”C“ in Selinunte.”
