The presentation of the restoration of Leonardo da Vinci's Adoration of the Magi will be preceded by the social campaign #Waiting4Leonardo.

Launching today on the Uffizi Galleries ’ Twitter and Instagram accounts (@UffiziGalleries on both platforms) is the social campaign #Waiting4Leonardo: images and short interviews related to the restoration of theAdoration of the Magi, Leonardo da Vinci’s famous unfinished work, which will be presented to the press next Monday, March 27.

The intervention, which will be the subject of an exhibition opening Tuesday, March 28, was directed by Cecilia Frosinini and Marco Ciatti of theOpificio delle Pietre Dure. The posts that will be published on Twitter and Instagram will be a sort of “pathway to the event”: there will also be a digital interaction session during which the public can direct their questions to the museum to learn more about the restoration. All updates and schedules will be released in the coming hours on Twitter.
