Tiziana D’Angelo has been appointed deputy director of the Royal Palace in Naples, succeeding Paola Ricciardi who left the post to take over as head of the Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the Naples Metropolitan Area. D’Angelo is currently also heading the Archaeological Park of Paestum and Velia.
The appointment was made by a decree issued by Director General Museums Massimo Osanna. The temporary assignment includes not only the management of the Royal Palace of Naples, but also that of Villa Pignatelli, a historic mansion that houses the Diego Aragona Pignatelli Cortes Museum and the Carriage Museum.
