Saved for now in Turin is the Gam Art Library, which was in danger of closure because of cuts to culture inflicted by the city administration. The risk was that the Library’s huge holdings, officially the “Library of the Fondazione Torino Musei” but known to all as the “Library of Gam” because it was long united with the Turin Gallery of Modern Art, would be transferred to the National University Library.
