Art Rights Prize, the first International Virtual Art Prize aimed at all artists in painting, photography, video art, digital art and street art

There is time until November 30, 2020 to apply for Art Rights Prize, the first International Virtual Art Prize aimed at all artists who can participate with their works of painting, photography, video art, digital art, and street art. The prize is organized by theAB Factory Cultural Association with the support of many partners.

Art Rights Prize offers over thirty prizes to be awarded to the finalist artists selected by the Jury, with a total value of over €100,000 in cash and services as recognition of personal merit and as encouragement in the interest of the community. In addition to the prizes awarded by the Jury of Experts, Art Rights Prize offers, thanks to its partners, additional awards in services, and there is also a special Audience Prize, thanks to which all participating artists will have the opportunity to promote their art through the digital platform: the more votes they receive, the more opportunities they will have to win the final prize money from the audience.

Below are the expected prizes:

Art Rights Prize will award cash prizes to the first runners-up in each category, while the Audience Prize consists of 5,000 euros in cash to the work that receives the most likes from the public during the final virtual exhibition; ProfessioneARTE.it, the first community dedicated to training, updating and guidance on art professions, will offer one year’s access to its video courses and webinars and an Artist Starter Kit that includes a set of contract forms along with a complete set of video courses; Open Care - Services for Art will offer to the winning artists a presentation event of their works and an artist training day; MTArt Agency will give the opportunity to collaborate with the agency for some events and initiatives and a one-hour webinar with a focus on the English art market; Art Backers Agency, the first Cultural Marketing and Communication agency entirely dedicated to the art world 3.0, will offer the creation of a website and the study and design of a tailor-made Digital Strategy; from MoCDA, The Museum of Contemporary Digital Art, a one-hour Curatorial Advisor and a week-long exhibition; from The AB Factory, a creative space open to supporting culture, art, artists and creative in Cagliari an art residency and support for the production of Limited Edition; Isorropia Homegallery is offering one of the finalist artists an exhibition for the 2021-2022 season; and Hub/Art will make its exhibition space available for an exhibition of one or more artists, at which time a catalog dedicated to the exhibition and the opening event will be produced.

The Jury will select one hundred finalist artists and three hundred works to be exhibited and sold in an exclusive 3D Virtual Exhibition on the LIEU.CITY platform. It consists of fifteen experts, three for each artistic category: for Painting, Luca Beatrice (Curator and Art Critic), Maria Chiara Valacchi (Art Critic, independent curator and art writer), Marta Giani (Sotheby’s Italia Director); for Photography, Denis Curti (Founder of Still Gallery and Photography Expert), Marine Tanguy (Founder of MTArt Agency), Lorenza Castelli (Exhibition director of MIA Photo Fair); for Digital Art, Serena Tabacchi (Founder MoCDA Museum of Contemporary Digital Art), Karen Levy (Collector DSLcollection and Founder of AiKA), Giacomo Nicolella Maschietti (Journalist and Expert in the market of ’Art); for Street Art, Marco Rubino (Collector and Street Art Contributor Forbes Italy), Giuseppe Pizzuto (Gallerist of Wunderkammern), Matteo Maffucci (Street Art Collector); for Video Art, Carolina Ciuti (Artistic Director of the video art festival LOOP Barcelona), Sveva D’Antonio (Gallerist and Collector of the Taurisano Collection) and Jean Conrad Lemaitre (Collector and President of the Commission of the video art festival LOOP Barcelona). In addition to the juries by category, a Jury for the Partner Award has been formed, while the selecting Jury for the Audience Award will be the voting public on the digital platform.
