Una mano per AIL, thefundraising auction aimed at financing the AIL Accoglie project, returns to Milan. The event now in its 10th year will be held on Monday, May 29 at 7:30 p.m. at Palazzo Clerici, Christie’s Milan headquarters.

Thirty leading contemporaryartists, photographers, architects, and designers have donated one of their works that has as a common theme the city of Milan, where AIL has been working for forty-seven years. Milan itself will be the subject that will inspire the reflections of thirty famous Milanese (from Giorgio Armani to Giorgio Gaber, from Ferruccio De Bortoli to Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo, from Beppe Sala to Massimo Moratti, from Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana to the Gialappa’s Band) that will accompany each work and that will be collected in the catalog.

The auction will be held by Cristiano De Lorenzo, Managing Director Italy of Christie’s, assisted by speeches by Lella Costa.

The funds raised will go entirely to increase and guarantee the total free services offered by the AIL Accoglie project. Neighbors Concretely, which brings together all the assistance activities aimed at oncohematology patients: from hospitality in AIL Homes to the accompaniment service to therapies, from the Psychological Support Outpatient Clinic to the early and simultaneous palliative care project, from economic support to reimbursement of travel expenses for the most frail patients.
