From June 11 to June 20, the Decentral Art Pavilion - Venice 2022, in Palazzo Giustinian Lolin, is exhibiting Beeple’s iconic work, Everydays - The First 5000 DaysEverydays, in its Immersive Room.

The work by American artist Beeple (born Mike Winkelmann), a graphic designer from Charleston, South Carolina, became famous because it constitutes the first all-digital work to sell for a record sum: exactly $69 million at Christie’s auction on March 11, 2021. Measuring 21,069 pixels per side, the work is a collage of five thousand images that the artist created between May 1, 2007 and January 7, 2021, and is considered a masterpiece of Crypto art.

" Beeple’sEverydays is much more than a masterpiece," explains Javier Krasuk, co-founder and president of Decentral Art Pavilion. “It is a new approach to immerse ourselves through art in the controversial world we live in and an invitation to rethink the past we tend to forget and the future we try to decipher.”

The pavilion has more than three hundred works by the most famous artists in the crypto world such as Xcopy, Beeple, Trevor Jones, Robert Alice, Coldie and Hackatao to name a few, and has gained international recognition in its first edition that began less than two months ago with the Singularity exhibition and weekend specials dedicated to the Genesis of the NFT World (0.14) curated by Robert Alice, Generative Art (sponsored by ArtBlocks), Photography at NFT (in partnership with SuperRare) and curated by Ariana Grava, and Fashion Luxury & NFTs featuring iconic pieces from Dolce&Gabbana and Vogue Portugal. Decentral Art Pavilion was founded by Florencia Bruck and Javier Krasuk and later invited co-founders Diego Lijtmaer and Simone Furian.

Everydays- The First 5000 DaysEverydays is on view from June 11 to 20 from 4 to 7 p.m.
