In Milan the eighth edition of the CRAMUM Prize, this year dedicated to reflection on nature


On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2021, Villa Mirabello is hosting the eighth edition of the CRAMUM Prize with the exhibition "(Is) Nature (is) Dead?"

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2021, CRAMUM presents at Villa Mirabello the exhibition (La) Nature (is) Dead?, curated by Sabino Maria Frassà, hosting the eighth edition of the Cramum Prize. The opening will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. and the winner of the Prize, now in its eighth edition, will be proclaimed. Whoever wins this edition of the Cramum Prize will have access to a path of exhibitions and publications that will end after two years with a solo exhibition at the Francesco Messina Museum in Milan. Those who win will also receive the cube, symbol of the prize, this year made by Marini Marmi in Nuvolato di Gré.

The works on display are intended to make the public understand how art is questioning the theme of nature not only through the representation of still lifes, but also by reflecting on the relationship between human being-nature-future.

Until Sunday, Sept. 12, alongside the young finalists of the Prize are twelve internationally renowned artists: the duo Bloom&me (Carolina Trabattoni and Valeria Vaselli), Ludovico Bomben, Letizia Cariello, Gianluca Capozzi, Michele De Lucchi, David LaChapelle, Alberto Emiliano Durante, Ingar Krauss, Fulvio Morella, Paola Pezzi, Elena Salmistraro, and Carla Tolomeo. The finalist artists in the exhibition and competition are: Elisa Alberti, Maurizio Cariati, Stefano Cescon, Matteo Di Ciommo, Jingge Dong, Clarissa Falco, Stefano Ferrari, Maxim Frank, Miriam Montani, the duo Andrea Sbra Perego & Federica Patera, Federica Zianni

The exhibition is accompanied by the volume (THE) NATURE (IS) DEAD?- What selfishness for a possible future.

The exhibition will remain open for Milan Design Week 2021 from Wednesday, Sept. 8 to Saturday, Sept. 11 from 12 to 6 p.m.; Sunday, Sept. 12 from 1 to 4 p.m.
