Kicking off in July is a series of evening openings for the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice as part of the ministerial plan for enhancement.

A new round of evening openings is starting for the Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venice, as part of initiatives under the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities’ 2017 Enhancement Plan. The openings will make the five rooms on the ground floor of the museum, with works of Venetian and Veneto paintings from the 17th to 18th centuries, as well as the Philip Guston & The Poets exhibition, a collateral event of the 2017 Venice Biennale, visitable.

Therefore, the museum will be open from 7:15 to 10:15 p.m. on the following days: Friday, July 14, Friday, July 21, Wednesday, August 16, Wednesday, August 30, and Thursday, August 31. For the occasion, the entrance fee to the museum and the exhibition will be €3 for the full ticket and €1.50 for the reduced ticket. Additional special evening openings are planned for September and October, during which there will also be various cultural initiatives. In particular, from September 29 evening tours for the exhibition Canova, Hayez and Cicognara. The Last Glory of Venice, which will celebrate the bicentennial of the first public opening of the Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venice.
