On Saturday, May 16, from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Ferrara ’s Palazzo dei Diamanti will host Warhol Night, the concluding event of the project echo: reflected identities, a contemporary journey dedicated to the themes of portraiture and self-portraiture inspired by Andy Warhol’s artistic legacy.
For the occasion, the exhibition Andy Warhol. Ladies and Gentlemen will be exceptionally open until 11:30 p.m. with a special 10-euro admission, available exclusively at the box office from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.
The evening offers a reflection on the construction of identity in the age of social media through a large interactive multimedia installation: a collective artist video that reworks selfies shared by the public, reinterpreting Warholian poetics in a contemporary key. The visual intervention, designed to investigate the boundary between the public and private dimensions of the image, aims to transform the exhibition space into an immersive and engaging environment.
Accompanying the experience will be a DJ set that will combine art, music and sociability in a participatory atmosphere. During the evening, the Caffetteria dei Diamanti will also offer the 2-for-1 formula on drinks purchased by presenting the exhibition ticket.
An invitation to get involved, share your reflection and become part of a collective work inspired by the Pop Art universe.
