Wopart, the international fair of works on paper in Lugano, returns


From September 14 to 17, 2017, Wopart, the international fair of works on paper, returns to Lugano after the success of the first edition.

Wopart, the international fair of works on paper, is back again this year in Lugano!

The new edition, presented in Milan, will take place from September 14 to 17, 2017. Organized by Lobo Swiss and directed by Luigi Belluzzi, 62 galleries from eleven countries will be present at the exhibition; it will be an opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts to get to know an ever-growing market that includes ancient and modern works made with various techniques.

It will be possible to be in front of drawings by Raphael, Guercino, Andy Warhol, Renoir, Klee, Roy Lichtenstein, Banksy and many others.
Meetings and talks and side events will also be organized to allow visitors to learn more about the market for works on paper. In attendance will be Paolo Canevari, Emilio Isgrò, Joseph Kosuth, Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and Massimo Prelz, neuroscientist Edoardo Boncinelli and philosopher Lina Bertola.

Exhibitions such as the photography exhibition"1930 - 1970: avant-garde photography in Italy from the Prelz collection," curated by Walter Guadagnini and CAMERA, Centro Italiano per la Fotografia in Turin, the exhibition"I mille volti del kabuki," with ukiyo-e prints from the Museo delle Culture in Lugano, and an exhibition of works on paper and artist’s books from the collections of the Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci in Prato, Italy, will be organized within the pavilions
