Exhibition in Pisa dedicated to Ozmo extended until Feb. 17, 2019

The Ozmo, Every walls in town tells a story exhibition was a major success and will be extended until February 17, 2019.

Extended until February 17, 2019, the exhibition hosted at the Fortress and Guelph Tower in Pisa dedicated to street artist Ozmo.

Ozmo, Every walls in town tells a story was a major success with over 3,000 admissions and very positive opinions. The curator of the exhibition and President of Start, Gian Guido Grassi, said, “We tried to bring the exhibition to life, making it a lively place of meetings (such as the study day dedicated to the order of architects on street art), guided tours, concerts and experiments especially dedicated to the youngest; we were amazed by the participation of schools and the adherence of families to the workshops but even more so to see people spontaneously returning to share the visit with their partners, children or friends.... some decided to experience an alternative birthday here by offering ”art“ to their guests! Contemporary and traditional, street art and historic spaces, Ozmo and the Fortress and the Guelph Tower, offered a winning combination dialoguing and empowering each other! Thanks also to the promotional agreement with the exhibition at the arsenals dedicated to Bosh, Brueghel and Arcimboldo, the whole Citadel area has become an important hub in terms of culture and tourist attraction. We thank the City Council and the Pisa Foundation for supporting the initiative by also giving us the opportunity to carry out this extension.”

Two events have also been organized: on Friday, Feb. 15, at 5:30 p.m., there will be the presentation of the 2nd edition of #pisastreetart, a volume, written by Gian Guido Grassi and Roberto Pasqualetti and published by ets, that catalogs and maps the mural works created in Pisa since 1989, now part of the city’s conspicuous and valuable heritage of public art that is often still little known even to insiders; on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 4 and 5:30 p.m., there will be two free guided tours.

Hours: Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Free admission.
