From March 10 in Lucca, the exhibition Immersion by Giovanni Maranghi

Coming to Lu.C.C.A. Lounge & Underground from March 10, 2018 is Giovanni Maranghi's exhibition Immersion.

On March 10, 2018, the exhibition"Immersion" by Giovanni Maranghi will open in the Lu.C.C.A. Lounge & Underground in Lucca.

Until April 1, the Tuscan artist’s retrospective will present to the public his recent works, in which the common thread is the liquid element.

Water becomes a symbol of the journey outside and inside ourselves, it immerses us in environments without space-time references and with its transparency reflects our inner selves.
In water, Giovanni Maranghi immerses a provisional and evanescent female cosmos, where the real datum merges with the memorial and the ideal. The profiles of his female figures materialize before us thanks to a liquid atmosphere: a combination of lights and chromatic transparencies perceived in a situation similar to when we immerse ourselves in water.
In this way, a deeper truth is communicated and the secrets of the human soul are revealed.

The exhibition is curated by Maurizio Vanni and is produced by MVIVA in collaboration with Casa d’Arte San Lorenzo and CRA - Centro Raccolta Arte.
