Yesterday Guercino's Sybil, on display until June 4 in Piacenza for "Guercino Between Sacred and Profane," became part of the exhibition "From Giotto to Morandi" in Perugia.

It has become part of the exhibition itinerary of the Palazzo Baldeschi al Corso exhibition in Perugia,"From Giotto to Morandi. Art Treasures of Italian Foundations and Banks" Guercino’s Sibyl.

The painting from the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Cento was on display until June 4 in Piacenza at the exhibition"Guercino in Piacenza.Tra sacro e profano."

The Perugia retrospective is curated by Vittorio Sgarbi, was organized by the CariPerugia Arte Foundation and will be open to the public until Sept. 15, 2017.

Guercino’s Sybil was safely transferred from Piacenza to Perugia, and a document was drawn up by restorer Carla Mancini ascertaining the painting’s condition after transport.
Also presented were agreements with BusItalia and Trenitalia for discounts on the exhibition ticket for visitors in possession of the travel ticket.
