Turin, extended exhibition Even statues die at the Egyptian Museum

The exhibition Even Statues Die. Conflict and Heritage between Ancient and Contemporary has been extended until Jan. 6, 2019.
Presented on March 8, the exhibition was supposed to end on September 9, but, at least at the Egyptian Museum in Turin, it will remain open until early 2019. In fact, the exhibition was also at the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and the Musei Reali (in the Salone delle Guardie Svizzere), but, at these museums, it was closed on May 29 and June 3, 2018, respectively.

The reason for the extension was the more than 150,000 visits recorded by the Egyptian Museum, which convinced them to keep the exhibition open for a while longer. The theme of the exhibition is the importance of safeguarding and protecting cultural heritage, a topic that is as topical as ever. For all information you can visit the official website of the exhibition which you will find at this link.
