The art and collectibles market never stands still, and the week between late January and early February 2026 promises to be particularly lively.

It kicks off on Thursday, Jan. 29, with a Pandolfini-signed offering in Florence, which opens the week with the Spotlight Design live auction, a now landmark event for lovers of fine furniture. On the same day for those seeking historical artifacts, Christie’s closes its Antiquities auction, a fascinating journey through past civilizations. Wednesday, Feb. 4, represents the culmination of the international week. Christie’s still dominates the scene in New York and Paris with three highlights: the Old Masters, Part II devoted to Old Master Paintings and Sculpture, and the Mathilde and Friends in Paris online auction.
