Starting with a poignant verse from L ’infinito (1819), the first appointment of InterValli, realized with the contribution of the National Committee for the Bicentennial Celebrations of the Composition of L’infinito, proposes an intergenerational and international itinerary with artists born between the 1930s and the 1990s who are confronted today with the figure of Giacomo Leopardi and the atmosphere that animated his intellectual itinerary.

The brainchild of Countess Olimpia Leopardi, a descendant of the famous poet, and curated by Antonello Tolve, the exhibition Io nel pensiero mi fingo will offer a selection of works by Tomaso Binga, Jeanne Gaigher, H.H. Lim, Maurizio Mochetti, Melissa Lohman, Patrizia Molinari, Adrian Tranquilli and Narda Zapata in the Library’s halls.

The exhibition is organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, Marche Region, City of Recanati, University of Macerata, Academy of Fine Arts of Macerata, Accedemia of Fine Arts of Urbino.
