The Baths of Diocletian are shown in 3D on MiBACT's YouTube channel

A 3D reconstruction of the Baths of Diocletian is available on MiBACT's Youtube channel, as well as an audio poetic guide dedicated to the masterpieces of the National Roman Museum

A 3D reconstruction of the Baths of Diocletian based on the studies of Edmond Paulin and the presentation of Ruins, apoetic audio guide that narrates the masterpieces housed in the National Roman Museum’s venues: the Palazzo Massimo, Palazzo Altemps, the Crypta Balbi and the Baths of Diocletian, can be seen on the MiBACT YouTube channel.

The one offered by the Baths of Diocletian is a 360-degree 3D virtual reconstruction inspired by the 19th-century studies and surveys of architect Edmond Paulin. Thanks to the video, it is possible to experience from home an evocative visit inside the great imperial-age facility of the Baths of Diocletian, just as it appeared to the Romans of the fourth century AD.

In another video, Gabriele Tinti presents the Ruins project: it is a poetic audio guide that narrates the museum’s masterpieces. His words, to which actors such as Marton Csokas, Alessandro Haber, and Kevin Spacey have lent their voices, are inspired by the Galata suicida, the Erinni, the Ermes Ludovisi, and the Ares of Palazzo Altemps, and again the Pugile, the Sarcophagus Mattei, the Apollo del Tevere, and Dionysus of Palazzo Massimo.
