Virtual White Night at CAMeC in La Spezia

During the evening, a number of historical performances by the group of authors belonging to theBAU Cultural Association will be held in sequence. The group celebrates its sixteen years of activity with the exhibition that opened last Feb. 21 on floor 0 of CAMeC, entitled BAU. Container of Contemporary Culture 2004-2020: over a thousand works contained in the sixteen issues of the experimental magazine BAU were brought together at the museum venue.

These days, the more than one thousand authors who were part of the “containers of contemporary culture” are populating the museum’s social channel with their creativity: texts, photos of old and new works, ideas, recipes for life and cooking.

The BAU Cultural Association was founded in 2004 in Viareggio by a group of authors with decades of experience as practitioners in the field of artistic research. Locally and through national and international collaborations, the project has become a lively meeting point aimed at activating dialogues, comparisons and wide-ranging exchanges between the most diverse expressive disciplines. BAU assembles each year the eponymous “Container of Contemporary Culture,” a limited edition box set containing original works by numerous authors from different nations.
