Rondò dei Talenti, the new educational hub resulting from a major regeneration project promoted by the CRC Foundation, is born in Cuneo.

The Rondò dei Talenti, the new educational hub created by the transformation of a former Ubi Banca headquarters into a community space, is born in Cuneo, thanks to a major regeneration project promoted by the CRC Foundation. The inauguration is scheduled for Friday, July 8 at 6 p.m. and the event is part of the broader program “The Generation of Ideas - Talent, Environment, Culture and Inclusion,” organized by the Foundation on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its founding.

The Rondo dei Talenti intends to be a point of reference for the area and the country; a hub open to all that wants to develop around the theme of talent by focusing on training, education and orientation, in order to catalyze and boost growth, knowledge, the birth of ideas and the sharing of experiences. It will be a space available to entities and associations that wish to organize workshops, meetings and training and educational activities.

In front of the Rondo will be born a new square for the city, a meeting point for citizens and visitors. The new educational hub will offer on the ground floor a reception area, on the second floor classrooms and training spaces, on the second and third floors the City of Talents, the latter created to accompany children and young people in the age group between 7 and 13 years old to their choices, and the fourth and final floor dedicated to meetings and conferences. The opening of the new space will be accompanied by a rich program of events designed by Fondazione CRC in collaboration with Mirabilia, scheduled from Friday, July 8 to Sunday, July 10: the full program is available at https://rondodeitalenti.it/programma-inaugurazione/.

The architectural design is intended to be a window on the city and the world characterized by large windows that open wide views of the city and mountains, in connection with the activities proposed inside the building that are meant to open new perspectives and offer insights to interpret the present and design the future.

The current building is the result of an ideas competition promoted by the CRC Foundation, in collaboration with theOrder of Architects of the Province of Cuneo, aimed at architects and designers under 40. A contest cha gathered seventy projects from all over Italy, which ended with the assignment to Milanese architect Marco Oriani. The Rondò dei Talenti is also the first building in the province of Cuneo built with the parameters necessary to apply for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, an internationally recognized standard that certifies the level of energy efficiency and green footprint of buildings.

“After three years of work, Fondazione CRC is pleased to inaugurate an intervention that changes the face of the city of Cuneo, regenerating and giving back to everyone a space that has been abandoned for a long time: a new training, education and orientation center that will be able to become an excellence and a reference not only at the regional level,” said Ezio Raviola, president of Fondazione CRC. “A place dedicated to discovering and developing one’s talent both as an opportunity for personal growth and as a resource to be made available to the entire community. A further piece of the extensive program of initiatives ’The Idea Generation,’ with which we are celebrating thirty years of Fondazione CRC’s existence.”
