Alessandro Moreschini named new director of the National Cinema Museum of Turin

Turin ’s National Cinema Museum has named Alessandro Moreschini as its new director, chosen by the museum’s management committee following a review that included 35 candidates admitted to the second phase.
Moreschini (49, from Cuneo) was chosen, the committee’s minutes state, for his skills and human qualities “indispensable for the management of one of the most important museum institutions on the international film scene.” In the past, Moreschini served on the board of directors of the Consortium of Royal Savoy Residences and was administrative director of theAcademy of Fine Arts in Turin and Pinacoteca Albertina and the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
