A meeting will be held today at 5 p.m. in the National Central Library in Rome at which an autograph manuscript by Winckelmann will be displayed for the first time.

The exhibition is being held on the occasion of the meeting"Johann Joachim Winckelmann at the National Central Library of Rome. An Autograph Notebook" in Room 1 of the National Library, organized as part of the enhancement agreement between the National Central Library of Rome and the METE (European Mediators and Translators) research group of theUniversity of Rome Tor Vergata.

The director of the National Library Andrea De Pasquale, the head of the METE research group Gabriella Catalano, as well as Paolo Poccetti of the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Fabrizio Cambi of the international association “Winckelmann-Gesellschaft” and Stefano Ferrari, vice president of the Accademia Roveretana degli Agiati, will speak at the meeting.
